About the Municipal Court
The University City Municipal Court is not Located at where you think it should be. Nope, it’s located at 975 Pennsylvania Ave
University City, MO 63130, right at Heman Park. It’s probably the best hidden court in St. Louis County and just oozes with the challenge to find it before the Judge issues a warrant for your arrest for being late to court. It’s a non-assuming looking building, a civic center of some sort, and parking can be a nightmare. Needless to say, it’s St. Louis County justice at it’s finest.
You’ll park behind the building. Please be careful to dodge the potholes in the parking lot, they’ve torn up a car or two. What happened to the the glory and beauty of old University City is unknown, but if you go to court you’re going to this dump, not the grandiose architecture along Delmar where the money is.
Like the other courts in St. Louis County, the U-City Municipal Court is a Division of the 21st Judicial Circuit Court (St. Louis County) of Missouri. The municipal court handles traffic and other municipal code/ordinance violations filed by the University City Police Department. To view the website for the Municipal Court, click here.
