The Consolidated Municipal Courts (CMC) were established in 2016 to alleviate the congestion in many of the municipal courthouses throughout St. Louis County. Because St. Louis County has a ridiculous number of individual municipalities, and because many of those municipalities cannot really individually support a municipal court system, they team up to save money on the administration of justice. The CMC is located at 10405 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074 directly in front of the Big Lots store. The website for the Consolidated Municipal Courts can be found here.

Scales of Justice

If you simply signed a citation, you did not plead guilty, but only signed a promise to appear in court on your appearance date.  If you are charged with a DWI or other criminal violation, contact an experienced Municipal Court attorney to assist you with your case. A criminal conviction can have serious consequences including a criminal record, driving restrictions, and increased insurance rates. In addition, a criminal record can restrict your access to certain jobs, federal and private, certain government benefits, schooling, and several other rights you have as a citizen. About the author

Guss Markwell

Originally from St. Louis Missouri, I grew up in a strong Midwest and moral family who taught me right from wrong and to stand up for my rights and the rights of others. In these tough economic times, you need an advocate on your side. Why do I practice law? Often, people are facing seemingly insurmountable opposition with little or no ability to overcome great odds. It is my position that we should all be fighting for those who find themselves alone, afraid, and at times unpopular. I subscribe to the notion that a society should be judged by how it treats its most vulnerable members. I represent, and I fight for, those people. “There is light at the end of that tunnel, don’t stop.”
